Doris Jones Oliver

Mrs. Doris Jones Oliver, age 75, of Covington, Georgia died Tuesday November 19, 2013 in the Oconee Health Care following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23rd, in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery in Sandersville. The Reverend Roy Smith will officiate.

Mrs. Oliver was a native of Washington County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Ray Daniel Jones and the late Ruby Brooks Jones. She was the wife of the late Louie Richard Oliver. Mrs. Oliver was a homemaker and an avid reader. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors are a brother, Emory Daniel Jones of Del Ray Beach, Florida; two nephews, Marcus Daniel Jones and Cecil Wade Jones; and two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Hammond and her husband Dod of Hawkinsville and Marjorie Leigh Padgett of Augusta.
