Miss Dorothy Mae Womble, age 82, of 4107 Mills Lindsey School Road, Warthen, Ga
died Saturday morning, April 11, in the Oconee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday April 13 in the Union Baptist Church near Warthen with burial in the Union Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Cash and Rev. Roy Smith will officiate.

Miss Womble was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late F. Leo Womble and the late Nannie Lou Smith Womble. She was a homemaker and a member of the Union Baptist Church. She was a member of the Warthen Community Club.

Survivors are her sisters, Major Grace Womble of Warthen, LaVerne Womble (J. L. ) Burson –Cook of Sandersville and Ruth Womble (Herman) Smith of Milledgeville, a devoted cousin, Mary Womble Condit of Albany and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that donations may be made to the Union Baptist Church, 2830 Mills Lindsey School Road, Warthen, Georgia 31094.
