Earl Rogers Anderson, Sr.

Mr. Earl Rogers Anderson, Sr., age 88, of 326 Meadows Drive in Sandersville died on Friday morning September 18 at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday September 20 in the Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Sandersville. Reverend Lee Lacey will officiate.

Mr. Anderson was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Ivey Ray Anderson, Sr. and the late Mary Sally Whiddon Anderson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Jo Anderson. He was the retired owner of the Anderson Plumbing Company. Mr. Anderson was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors are: his son, Earl Rogers Anderson, Jr. of Sandersville; two sisters, Dorothy Kennedy of Tennille, and Sarah Brown of Warthen.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday.

The family suggests that donations be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 2523, Augusta, GA 30903-2523.
