Earnestine Tyson

Mrs. Earnestine Brantley Tyson, age 79, of Transylvania Drive in Sandersville died Monday evening June 15 in the Heritage Inn in Toomsboro following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday June 18 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Washington County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. Thursday until the hour of service.

Mrs. Tyson was a native of Johnson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Cresliah Brantley and the late Bertha Flanders Brantley. She had lived in Washington County most of her life. Mrs. Tyson was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a member of the Harrison Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sons, Joseph Stephen Tyson, Jr. of Milledgeville and Danny J. Tyson of Sandersville, two grandsons, Gabe Tyson and Dusty Tyson, a sister, Betty Phillips of Swainsboro.
