Edith Bussell Meade

Mrs. Edith Bussell Meade, age 84, of Hartwell, Georgia, formerly of Sandersville, died on Monday, August 24, 2020 in Hartwell.  A memorial service will be announced later.

Mrs. Meade was a native of Washington County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Henry Warthen Bussell and the late Evie Irene Brantley Bussell.  She was a retired medical technician. She worked for Macon Hospital as a doctor’s assistant.  Mrs. Meade was a member of Warthen Methodist Church.

Survivors are her children, Samuel Meade of Cottondale FL, Elizabeth Meade Smith and her husband Larry of Chattahoochee FL, Lisa Meade Fisher and her husband Blake of Hartwell, Henry Meade of Chattanooga TN, Timothy M. Meade and his wife Erin of Prattville AL, Shelia Meade Burch and her husband Jim of Napoleon MI; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Henry O. Bussell and his wife Phyllis of Warthen and Benny Bussell and his wife Mary Ellen of Sandersville.
