Edna Brooks Waller

February 3, 1920 — April 29, 2010

Mrs. Edna Brooks Waller, age 90, of Sandersville died Thursday April 29 in the Heritage Inn in Sandersville following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday May 2 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. The Rev. Larry Giles and Rev. Griffin Thompson will officiate with burial in the Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Brooks, William Brooks, Mike Cox, Harold Channell, Ronny May, Bernard Doolittle and Tony May.

Mrs. Waller was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Luther Brooks and the late Mary Brooks. She was the wife of the late Ernest Webb Waller. Mrs. Waller was a homemaker and a salesperson for Avon for over 25 years. She was a member of the Tabernacle Methodist Church.

Survivors are her daughters, Sara Waller Andrews and her husband Jimmy of Sandersville and Mary Ann Waller Winkler of Riverdale, four grandchildren, Stacey Brown, Chris Andrews, Adam Winkler and David Winkler, a great grandson, Andrew McNeely.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday evening.
