Edward Henry Porter, Sr.

Mr. Edward Henry Porter, Sr., age 54, of Harrison died on Saturday, November 26, 2022.  A memorial service for Mr. Porter will be held at a later date.

Mr. Porter was a native of Miami Florida but had lived in Harrison for a number of years.  He was the son of the late William Jackson Porter.  Mr. Porter was a truck driver for KLLM Trucking Service.

Survivors are his children, Thomas J. Porter of Midway, Crystal Maria Lord and her husband Erik of Harrison, Edward Henry Porter, Jr. of Harrison, Adan Emanuel Porter of Harrison and Maria Isabel Porter of Midway;  mother, Alex Porter Coleman of Harrison; eight grandchildren, Edward Henry Porter III, Christopher Wade Coleman, Jr, Henry Emanuel Coleman, Kimberly Ann Jean Porter, Thomas Joseph Porter, Jr., Anna Sophia Coleman, Adan Emanuel Porter, Jr. and William Alexander Porter;  brother, William Jackson Porter, Jr of North Carolina; and sisters, Dalphia Bean and Tonya Porter-Shelton both of Alabama and Cheryl Flint Mehta of California.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
