Elizabeth Lorene Redfern Lewis

Mrs. Elizabeth Lorene Redfern Lewis, age 67, of Sparta, died Monday, January 03, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5th at 2:00pm at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Tim Powell and Rev. Stacey Williford will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tommy Redfern, W.T. Parker, Craig Stewart, Brian Shelton, Mike Yates, Tyler Ricci, Greg Brantley, Stephen Ricci, London Fowler Shelton, and Jon Altson Lewis.

Mrs. Lewis was born in Washington County the daughter of the late Ivey Leroy Redfern and the late Sarah Ellen Osborne Redfern. She was the former assistant administrator of the Hancock Memorial Hospital and was a lifetime beautician. Mrs Lewis was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warthen.

Survivors are; her husband Samuel Leroy Lewis of Sparta, children, Anthony Leroy Lewis (Sharon) of Warthen and Pamela Kaye Lewis Ricci (Frank) of Sparta, grandchildren, Jessica Lewis, Jon Alston Lewis, Amanda Fowler, Courtney Fowler, Allison Castle, Tyler Ricci, Jammie Ricci, Denise Ricci, Gabby Ricci, Mandi Ricci, Patricia Ricci and Stephen Ricci, great grandchildren, London Fowler Shelton and Dylan Castle, her sister Patsy R. Brantley (Alfred) and her brother Tommy Redfern (Claire) all of Warthen.

The family will be at the Lewis residence Hwy. 15 North in Sparta and will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
