Emma Waller Fain Rogers

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Waller Fain Rogers, age 86, will be conducted Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 2:00 pm in Williams Funeral Home, with Reverend Craig Tillman officiating. Interment will be at 4:00 pm in the Tabernacle Church Cemetery in Washington County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm and on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the hour of service. 

Mrs. Rogers was a native of Sandersville, where she grew up and graduated from high school. She moved to Macon to attend and Graduate from Mercer University and went through Nursing School at the Old Macon Hospital. Mrs. Rogers continued her career with and retired from Pruitt Health Care as director of Nursing at Georgia War Veterans Home. She was a longtime member of West View Baptist Church. She was predeceased by an infant daughter; her husband, Gail Rogers, and former husband James Fain, Sr.; parents, Richard Frank Waller and Florrie Mae Tompkins Waller; siblings, Betty Waller Ennis, Mack Waller, Webb Waller, Frank Waller and William Waller.

Survivors include her sons, Jim Fain (Tina Beckham), Ronnie Fain (Rachael); grandchildren, Hannah, Matthew, Andrew, Ashwin Sinha (Keerthee), Aiden and Adison Fain; great grandchildren, Kaia and Max; several nieces and nephews including, Marie Durden, Carol Starley, Luke Ennis, Sara Andrews, and Mary Ann Andrews.
