Mrs. Eutha White Rhoades, age 93, of 640 Woodland Drive in Sandersville died Tuesday June 17 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday June 19 in the First Baptist Church of Sandersville with burial in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. The Rev. Marlon Lastinger and the Rev. Lee Lacey will officiate. Pallbearers will be Hugh Tarbutton, Ben Tarbutton, Mark West,
Bob West, Charles Lee and Otis Smith.

Mrs. Rhoades was a native of Warsaw, Kentucky but had lived in Sandersville for many years. She was the daughter of the late Fred Downey White and the l ate Eutha Clarissa Grant White. She was the widow of the late Junas Enoch “Dusty” Rhoades. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sandersville. Mrs. Rhoades was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Thursday Bridge Club, and the Washington County Historical Society. She was a volunteer Pink Lady for Washington County Regional Medical Center, a cancer survivor and a member of Reach to Recovery. She was a former president of the Parent Teachers Association and a member of The Boojum of the Balsams.

Survivors are a daughter, Eleanor Rhoades Adams and her husband Mike Adams of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, a son, Jack Sylvan Rhoades and his wife, Winnie Jo Rhoades of Thomasville, two grandchildren, Kim Staples and her husband Ted, Dean Rhoades and his wife Jeanne, four great grandchildren, Haley Staples, Kyle Staples, Jenna Rhoades and Mason Rhoades.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home, 1119 Riddleville Road in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening. The family suggests that donations may be made to the United Hospice of Swainsboro, 667 South Main Street, Swainsboro, Georgia 30401.
