EVA RAWLS HARRELL
1935 – 2011
Mrs. Eva Leona Harrell, age 76, of 6345 Riley road in Cumming, Georgia died Tuesday September 6 at the residence of her daughter in Sandersville.

A memorial service for Mrs. Harrell will be held at 5:00 P.M. Saturday September 17 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming, Georgia

Eva is best described as a woman with a colorful personality who lived life to the fullest. Born in Dallas, Texas, she moved to Atlanta in 1954 where she soon became manicurist to Atlanta’s movers and shakers. During most of her 33 year career as a professional manicurist, her client list read like “who’s who in Atlanta.” Eva had a variety of interests including photography, hunting, fishing, gardening and dancing. She became better known for shooting pictures of animals rather than hunting with a gun. Many of her photographs are treasured by family and friends. She was an animal lover, catching feral cats and taking them to the vet for sterilization and shots and finding homes for them. She would drive 2 hrs. to feed the foxes that came to her lake house searching for food which gave Eva opportunity to snap wonderful photos.

Eva is survived by one daughter, Vangie (Tony) Wallace of Sandersville, one son, Ted (Dawn) Thomas of Dacula, grandson Taylor Thomas and granddaughter Haley Wallace along with several sisters-in-Law, several brothers-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and best friend of 55+ years, Wynette Miller.

Preceding Eva in death were her husband, Charles Harrell, her parents William Joseph Rawls and Lottie Mae Brewer Rawls, siblings Mary Frances Huggins, Beatrice Nicodemus, Jaunita L. Baker and William J. Rawls, Jr.

She was loved and will be missed by the members of the World’s Greatest Coffee Club in Cumming, GA along with many others who knew her.
