Evelyn Christine Jackson

Ms. Evelyn Christine Jackson, age 87 of Sandersville, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at her residence. A graveside funeral to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Washington County Memorial Gardens, with Mr. Tommy Cowart officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Ms. Jackson, better know to most as Ms. Chris was born in Washington, Georgia, the daughter of the late Terry Prae and Fannie Mae Silvey. She was a homemaker who loved her family with all her heart. Ms. Chris was a people person and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David R. Jackson; son, Samuel Dwayne Bradley; grandsons, Phillip Prae Poole and Ryan Dwayne Bradley; sister, Dorothy Roth; and brothers, G.W. Silvey and Terry Silvey, Jr.

Ms. Jackson is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Poole; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Ann Baxley, and Dorothy Smith; and nieces and nephews, Becky, Sonja, Wylene, Tim, Keesha, and Jason.
