Evelyn Kaye Moree

Evelyn Kaye Moree age 71 of Stockbridge Ga. She passed away on October 2, 2023, at her home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

A memorial to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be on October 14 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Wind Song Club House Eagles landing in Stockbridge Ga.

Evelyn was born in Rockwood, Tennessee. She is the daughter of the late Ruby Hixon Johnson and the late Alvin Johnson. In addition to her parents, Evelyn is preceded by her siblings Grace Spurlin, Luther Johnson, Richard Warren, Alvin Johnson Jr., Gene Johnson, Betty Faye Moses, and Wanda Dickey

Evelyn was a quiet person who loved her family, friends, and working in her beautiful yard.

She retired from Norfolk Southern where she worked after graduating from College in Knoxville TN.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter Ashley Moree and Grandson Grayson Moree Richter of Atlanta Ga. Sibling's Sisters Patsy Dorn and her husband William Dorn, Jane Harren and husband Vince Harren, Linda Whitworth and husband Ed Whitworth, Mattie Trotque and Helen Mckinney and husband Richard Muelar and Brother-in-law Lavon Dickey. Numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved fur baby Lucy.
