Faye Smith Davis

Mrs.. Faye Smith Davis, age 70, of Kathleen, Georgia died on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Serenity hospice following an extended illness.  A memorial service for Mrs. Davis will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 7 in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville.  Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.  Burial will be private.

Mrs. Davis was a native of Washington County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Henry Holmes Smith and the late Bessie Crabb Smith.  She was the wife of the late Leon S. Wilkes, Jr. and the late Ben E. Davis.  Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Washington County High School Class of 1965.  She held an Associate degree from Macon College in computer programming.  Mrs. Davis was a retired computer programmer for the Houston Medical Center.

Survivors are her daughter, O'Teria "Terri" Wilkes of Kathleen; sisters, Shirley Smith Haywood and her husband Robert of Tennille, Connie Smith Garnto of Tennille; brother, Bobby H. Smith of Tennille; several nieces and nephews; and faithful friend, Gizmo.

The family will greet friends at May and Smith Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. on Sunday until the hour of service.
