Floyd Allen Johnson

Mr. Floyd Allen Johnson, age 72, of Harrison died on Monday, June 06, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 09, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville with burial in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Reverend Danny Thomas and Rev. Gary Mimbs will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Knight, Spencer Knight, Cecil Johnson, Richard Kennedy, Charles Mullis, Talmadge Wilkerson and Dan Alligood.

Mr. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Hubert Lamar Johnson. He was the husband of the late Gail Durden Johnson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lamar Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a farmer and the former owner of Johnson's Recycling.

Survivors include: his daughter, Delorise Johnson Knight and her husband Jeremy of Harrison; two sons, Eric Johnson and his wife Leslie of Harrison and Allen Johnson of Canonsburg, PA.; his mother, Varnie Morris Johnson of Harrison; six grandchildren, Denise Weaver and her husband Chris, Brandon Knight, Spencer Knight, Iris Wood, Ethan Sweat and Ava Sweat; three great grandchildren, Alaina Keever, Leon Weaver and Jeremiah Weaver.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
