Frances Watkins Frost

Mrs. Frances Watkins Frost, age 85, of 1354 New Bethel Road in Riddleville died Tuesday, December 27, 2011, in the Extended Care Facility in Sandersville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29th, in the New Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. M. D. Cabe and Rev. James Veal will officiate. Pallbearers will be Perry Frost, Blake Frost, Brandon Frost, Stacey Prince, Tim Waller, Eddie Rhodes and Todd Evans. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Jackson, Greg Frazier, Curtis Tingle, Billy Bridges, Bobby Bridges, John Dalton, Jerry Howell, Rufus Lindsey, Donald Farmer, Gene Jackson, Sr., Gene Jackson, Jr., Alex Pazon, David Frost and Mark Cabe.

Mrs. Frost was a native of Jefferson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Solomon Mobley Watkins and the late Sallie Rushin Watkins. She was the wife of the late Wade Reese Frost. Mrs. Frost was a retired seamstress for Apparel Craft and a homemaker. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and a Sunday school teacher of the Intermediate and Young Adult Classes for over twenty five years. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Watkins, Donald Watkins and Ray Watkins.

Survivors are a daughter, Gayle Frost Prince and her husband, Van of Sandersville, a son, Rabun Frost and his wife Paula of Riddleville, grandchildren, Perry Frost, Shannon F. Waller, Blake Frost, Brandon Frost, Tammi P. Rhodes, Michelle P. Evans and Stacey Prince, great-grandchildren, Nicole Waller, Mitch Rhodes, Tyler Rhodes, Mason Evans, Max Evans, Myles Evans, Amanda Prince and MacKenzie Prince, a great-great-granddaughter, Sophie Grace Rhodes, a sister, Fannie B. Hawkins of Sandersville, a brother, S. M. Watkins of Riddleville, two sisters-in-law, Sarah Frawley of Pooler and Dorothy Robinson of Homestead, Florida.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
