Mrs. Frances Lou Veal Page, age 81 of Tennille, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 27, 2024. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church, with burial following at Washington County Memorial Gardens. Reverend Frank Appel and Reverend Lamar Brantley will officiate, and pallbearers will be, Coy Wilcher, Brant Meacham, Trystan Kirkland, Ryan McKee, Robert Whitehead, Ken Jones, Easton Meacham, Colton McKee, Daniel McKee, and Beckam Reese. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Mrs. Page was a lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Thurston M. Veal and the late Stella Talvert Veal. During her working career, she was a seamstress and worked at Howard’s Department Store, but her main focus was on her family, as she spent most of her life as a homemaker. Mrs. Page loved to dance, shop, travel, and work in the yards, but her greatest joy in life was to be with her family. She was a member of Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William F. Page; brother, Edward Veal; and son in law, Randy Kirkland.

Mrs. Page is survived by her daughters, Linda Monroe and her husband James, Tracey Kirkland, and Wendy McKee and her husband Richard, all of Tennille; grandchildren, Coy Wilcher, Holly Meacham and her husband Brant, Mallory Monroe, Trey Monroe and his wife Brittany, Jessica Whitehead and her husband Robert, Courtney Kirkland, Trystan Kirkland, Kayla Brindell and her husband Jamie, and Ryan McKee; great grandchildren, Maylee Meacham, Easton Meacham, Saylor Meacham, Remi Monroe, Liz Monroe, Beckam Reese, Harper Grace Brindell, Colton McKee, and Daniel McKee; and brothers, Jerry Veal and his wife Martha, and Larry Veal and his wife Sheryl.

The family will be at the home of Linda and James Monroe on Highway 15 South, in Tennille.
