Frank Wells Hill of 615 West Haynes Street, Sandersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on February 3, 2010 at Southwest Christian Hospice in Union City after a courageous nine-month battle with cancer. Frank was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Perry, Georgia. He was self-employed as an IT consultant in Sandersville, Georgia.
He was born into a blended family and will be remembered by his mother Louise Sturgis and siblings Walter F. Winton, Warren Ken Winton, Madylyn Smith, William Hill, Sue Brantley, and Randy Carathurs, his beloved children Sydney Hill, James Hill, David Hill, and Anna Hill along with their spouses Lisa and Jana Hill as well as countless other friends and family of whom were blessed to know him. He was predeceased in death by his biological parents James and Grace Wells, his father William Hill, and his sister Sharon Leonard.
Frank loved fishing, dancing, spending time with his friends and family, playing the guitar, and being helpful to others both personally and professionally. Frank touched the lives of many people with his faith and generosity, which he maintained to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:30 am at Tennille Baptist Church, 203 North Main Street, Tennille, GA 31089.
