Frank Odell Lindsey, Jr.

Mr. Frank Odell Lindsey, Jr., age 74, of Sandersville, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 in an Augusta Hospital following an extended illness.  A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2 ^nd at 11:00 a.m. in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville.  Reverend Roy Smith will officiate.

Mr. Lindsey was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Frank O. Lindsey Sr. and the late Eudell Johnson Lindsey.  He was a graduate of Washington County High School where he excelled in Football.  He began a lifelong career as a welder, working though out middle Georgia including Jackson’s Machine Shop in Sandersville. Frank loved the outdoors and he loved to fish. He is predeceased by his brother, Thomas Eugene Lindsey.

Survivors include his sons, Troy Lindsey and Kevin Lindsey both of Riddleville; his grandsons, Logan Lindsey and David Lindsey; his sister, Marsha Rountree and her husband Paul of Sandersville; and his significant other, Jan Allen also of Sandersville.

The family will be meeting at 736 Jordan Mill Road in Sandersville.
