Frank Byron Morgan, Jr.

Frank Byron Morgan, Jr., age 70, died on Sunday, January 20, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM. A memorial service was held at Hope-in-Desert Episcopal Church in Albuquerque at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013. A funeral and interment will take place at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery in Macon, Georgia on January 29th at 11:00 a.m. with the Rt. Rev. Dwight D. Irons officiating.

Mr. Morgan was a native of Canton, Georgia, the son of the late Frank B. Morgan, Sr. and Hazel Earlene Jones Morgan. He graduated from North Georgia College where he received a BS in mathematics. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Morgan was retired from Department of Education, Washington D.C., and he was a member of the University United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: his brother, Dr. Felix Morgan and sister-in-law The Rev. Ruth Morgan both of Albuquerque; aunts, Mrs. Polly Gladin of Tennille, Georgia and Mrs. Jane Hendrix of Canton, Georgia.
