Frank Welch

Mr. George Franklin “Frank” Welch, age 76, of 201 East McCarty Street in Sandersville died Monday morning July 27 in the Extended Care Facility.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 29 in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. The Rev. William Moody will officiate.

Mr. Welch was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the son of the late Comer Welch and the late Maurine Lord Welch. He was the husband of the late Jeanette Moats Welch. Mr. Welch was a beautician, cosmetologist, florist and caterer. He and his wife operated the Welch House for many years. He was a member of the Downs Baptist Church.

Survivors are a brother, Ashley Welch of Somerset, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home from 5:00 until 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday.
