Freddy Leon Rymer, age 59, of Tennille, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Freddy was born and reared in Yuba City, California, son of the late Leon Eugene Rymer and the late Judy Elms Rymer. He began working at the age of 15 on a fish processing ship in Alaska. He later returned to Yuba City and worked with his father in construction. In 1993, Freddy and his wife Pam moved to Washington County Georgia to be near family. In Georgia, Freddy worked for Bobby Parker Construction and later worked as a painter, painting Farmers Furniture Stores. Freddy finished his working career as a self-employed painter. He loved playing dominos, chess and pool. Freddy is predeceased by his parents and brother, Ricky Smedley.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela C. Rymer of Tennille; children, Cherie Ens and her husband Michael, Albert Gaither, Jerry Jackson and Kyle Jackson and his wife Mildred; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren and sisters, Robin D. Martin of Sandersville and Tammy Johnson of California.
