Gail Cheely Blue

Mrs. Betty Gail Cheely Blue, age 50, of 1151 Lamars Creek Road in Sandersville died Wednesday morning August 4 in the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday August 7 in the Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sandersville.

Mrs. Blue was a life long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Thomas Ray Cheely. She was a homemaker and a member of the A-H Hunting Club.

Survivors are her husband, Jeffrey Thomas Blue of Sandersville, a daughter, Amanda Michelle Blue Simpson of Bartow, a son, Jeffrey Lamar Blue of Sandersville, her mother, Betty Emmaline Smith Cheely of Sandersville, a sister, Doris (Mike) Kitchens of Sandersville, five grandchildren, Jeremy Eugene Simpson, Nathaniel Raygan Simpson, Samantha Simpson, Gracy Simpson and Mary Elizabeth McNeely.

The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Strickland, 5217 Tennille-Oconee Road in Tennille.

May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
