Garry Enos Sims

Mr. Garry Enos Sims, age 44, of Sandersville died on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 15 at Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church in Sandersville with burial in Poplar Springs Church Cemetery. Reverend L.T. Logue and Reverend Nathan Adams will officiate.

Mr. Sims was a lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Victor Arnold Sims and the late Mollie Sue Williamson Sims. Mr. Sims was an employee of Logging Inc. He was a member of the Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Bonnie Prosser Sims of Sandersville; daughter, Taylor Sims Brett and her husband Tyler of Tennille; son, Douglas Monroe Sims of Sandersville; two grandchildren, Sylas James Brett and Morgan Brett; three brothers, Victor Sims, Jr and his wife Coleen of Buckhead, Brian Sims and his wife Shana of Bartow and Larry Sims and his wife Tara of Sandersville; sister, Debbie Calderon of Joplin, Missouri.

The family will receive friends at Ridgeland Heights Baptist Church in Sandersville from 1:00 P.M. on Thursday until the hour of service.
