Gene Jackson, Jr.

Mr. Gene Jackson, Jr. Age 58, of Riddleville, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at his residence. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 2:00p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church in Riddleville with burial following in the church cemetery. Reverend Andy Yates and Reverend Marty Deal will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 1:00p.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Mr. Jackson was the son of the late Wilmer Gene Jackson, Sr. and the late Jennie Lou Bowen Jackson. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, or riding on the tractor. Mr. Jackson was a tried-and-true Georgia Bulldog fan. His greatest love in life was his family, especially his children and grandson.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his children, Ethan Jackson and his wife Tatum of Brookhaven, and Amanda Jackson of Sandersville; grandson, Rylan Jackson; sister, Kathy Brooks, and her husband James of Sandersville; nephew, Kyle Brooks and his wife Meagan; niece, Kaitlyn Brooks; and great nieces, Betsy Brooks, and Maggie Brooks.

The family will be at the home of Amanda Jackson on South Smith Street in Sandersville.
