Geraldine Glover Brantley

Geraldine Glover Brantley, age 81, of Sandersville, died Thursday, December 3, 2015. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December, 6th at 2:00 p.m. at the Good Sheppard Church of the Nazarene with burial in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Lamar Brantley will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Larry Brantley, David Brantley, Barry Brantley, Drew Jordan, Brantley Sasseen, Keith Joiner, Gene Barnes, Walter Brantley, and Ricky Glover.

Mrs. Brantley was a native of Washington County the daughter of the late Orvin Henry Glover and the late Sallie Waller Glover. She was a homemaker and formerly worked in food service. Mrs. Brantley was a member of the Good Sheppard Church of the Nazarene where she was active with the Prime Timers Senior Group and also the “Lunch Bunch”. Earlier in life, she enjoyed square dancing.

Survivors are: her children, Jeff Brantley of Sandersville, Sue B. Whatley and her husband Daniel of Nacogdoches, TX, and Leigh B. Jordan and her husband Shawn of Tennille; grandchildren, Brantley Sasseen of Houston, TX, Taylor S. Hall and her husband Derrick of Virginia Beach, VA, Drew Jordan of Tennille, Allie Whatley of Nacogdoches, TX, and Darien Jordan of Tennille; great grandchildren, Addison Brandon and Sydney Brandon of San Marco, CA, and Lily Hall of Virginia Beach, VA; and her sister, Evelyn G. Gould of Houston, TX.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
