Gerda Suttner Archer

Mrs. Gerda Anna Suttner Archer, age 67, of 9769 Deepstep Road in Deepstep died Sunday December 6 in the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 9 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with entombment in the Washington Memorial Park.
The Rev. Larry Giles will officiate and pallbearers will be m embers of the Deepstep Volunteer Fire Department.

Mrs. Archer was a native of Germany but had lived in Deepstep for many years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Archer was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors are her husband, Hartwell Archer of Deepstep, two sons, Julian Archer of Tennille and Louis Archer of Jacksonville, Fla., four grandchildren, Stephen Archer, Danielle Archer, Ashley Archer and Brooke Archer, brothers and sisters, Martha Morgan of Newport News, VA., Rudi Suttner, Grete Suttner and Michel Suttner all of Germany.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday. The family suggest donations be m ade to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 632, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
