Gertrude Dye

Gertrude R. Dye, age 93, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, April, 18th, at 2:00 p.m. in the Piney Mount United Methodist Church Cemetery near Tennille, Georgia.

Mrs. Dye was born January 18, 1922, in Crawford County, Georgia, to the late Virgil A. Rowland and Beatrice G. Rowland. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Dye was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Faith Tabernacle in Greenbrier, Arkansas.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Vanetta Dye of Wooster; grandchildren, Charles W. Dye Jr. of Summerville, South Carolina, Kimberly Anne Dye and Marlin Daniel Dye both of Eatonton, Georgia; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three nieces; and two nephews.
