Glenn Williford

October 17, 1949 — September 18, 2017

Mr. Glenn Williford, age 67, of Sandersville, died Monday, September 18, 2017.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22 nd at 11:00 a.m. in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial at 12:30 p.m. at Mitchell Full Gospel Church Cemetery in Mitchell.  Reverend Fred Garrett will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Frank Williford, Elvin Williford, Timothy Williford, Ray Williford, Travis Williford and B.J. Thompson.

Mr. Williford was born in Jefferson County, the son of the late Edison Williford and the late Sadie Walden Williford.  He was retired as a diesel mechanic and equipment operator for W.F. Jackson Co. after 32 years of service.  Glenn attended Kendall Heights Church of God. He is predeceased in death by a brother, Wilbur Williford.

Survivors are, his sons, Chris Williford and his wife Melanie and Tony Williford and his wife Amy; grandchildren, Brandon and Carleigh Williford; brothers, Frank Williford and his wife Polly, Elvin Williford and Timothy Williford and his wife Pat; sisters, Rachel W. Godowns, Krystal W. Thompson and Elaine Williford; and his beloved dogs, Bobo, Buddy and Sam.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
