Gloria Gay Ingram

August 2, 1946 — October 7, 2012

Mrs. Gloria Gay Ingram, age 66, of West Point, Georgia died Sunday, October 7, 2012, in the West Georgia Hospice –LaGrange. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 9th, in the Zeta Cemetery, in Tennille. Rev. Don Youmans and Rev. Jeff Cook will officiate.

Mrs. Ingram was a native of Randolph County. She was the daughter of the late Edna Smith Gay and Clinton Hudspeth Gay, and was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton Hudspeth Gay, Jr. Mrs. Ingram was a former receptionist and substitute teacher for Brentwood School. She was a member of the Tennille United Methodist Church and a former member of the Fine Arts Club of Tennille and the Tennille Garden Club.

Survivors include: her husband, Jon Eston Ingram of West Point; a son, Jon Eston (Jase) Ingram, Jr. and his wife, Julianne of Augusta; a daughter, Carrie Ingram Burger of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Jon (Jack) Eston Ingram III, Tristan Lee Burger, Mary Frances Ingram, and Devin Todd Burger; an aunt, Mary Eva Smith Rowley of Tennille; a niece, Ivey Elizabeth Gay of Atlanta; and nephew, Thomas Hudspeth Gay of Bluffton.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at the May & Smith Funeral Home, 1119 Riddleville Road, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.

The family suggests donations be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, Georgia 30240 or to the American Cancer Society-
Cancer Research Program, 2607 Commons Blvd, Augusta, Georgia 30909.

May & Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
