Grayson Lynn Strickland

Grayson Lynn Strickland, age 43, of Wadley, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at his residence following an extended illness.   A celebration of Grayson’s life will be held on Saturday, December 8 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at May & Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend David Boggs will officiate.

Grayson was born in Decatur, Dekalb County.   He loved being outdoors and he possessed a passion for hunting, especially duck hunting.  Grayson formerly worked as a welder and heavy equipment operator prior to becoming a certified lineman, a profession that he took great pride in and loved.  His last place of employment was Will Bros. T and D Utility Company.  Grayson was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

Survivors are his wife, Rhonda Hall Strickland of Wadley; children, Tristin Lynn Strickland and Taylor Alexis Strickland both of Wrightsville, and Jacob Kyle Strickland of Wadley; mother, Judy Turner Morgan and his father, Butch Strickland and his wife Sandy all of Tennille; brother, Justin Neil Strickland and his wife Tiffini of Eatonton; and a nephew, Sean Strickland.
