Greg Everett

Mr. Greg Everett, age 60, of Warthen, died at his residence on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 1, in Pine Hill Methodist Church, with burial in the Pine Hill Church Cemetery.  Reverend Don Black will officiate. Pallbearers will be Stacey Everett, Ken Everett, Bruce Everett, Alan Everett, Adrian Ashley, Al Woods, Ricky Sheppard and Jamie Reynolds.

Mr. Everett was a native and life-long resident of Washington County.  He was a graduate of Glascock County School.  Mr. Everett was an exceptional artist and a true Donnie and Marie Osmond fan.  He loved his family and had numerous pen pals.

Survivors are his parents, Lester Everett and Betty K. Everett of Warthen; a brother, Keith Everett and his wife Deborah of Warthen; a sister, Lorri Everett Peterson and her husband Pete of Burlington, NC; nieces and nephews, Taylor Everett, Dillon Everett, Shelby Everett and Kendall Everett; a great niece, Beverly Everett; and his loyal cat, Itsy Bitsy.

The family suggest donations be made to Pine Hill Methodist Church, 2102 Bay Springs Road, Warthen, Georgia 31094 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 6703 Highway 68 South, Tennille, Georgia 31089.
