Hansel Hall Turner

May 25, 1927 — October 2, 2008

Mr. Hansel Hall Turner, age 81, of 184 Tanner Terrace in Macon died Thursday October 2 in the Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 on Sunday October 5 in the Union Baptist Cemetery near Warthen. The Rev. Roy Smith and Rev. Robert Cash will officiate.

Mr. Turner was a native of Washington County, the son of the late Jefferson Berry Turner and the late Mary Gladys Simpson Turner. He was a retired electrician with the Bibb Manufacturing Company and a member of the Union Baptist Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mary Gladys Turner Kennedy of Dublin and Grace Laverne Turner Daniel of Macon, a sister, Myra Smith of Centerville and a brother, Roy Turner of Roberta, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday.
