Hazle Fulghum Jackson

January 9, 1936 — September 8, 2011

Mrs. Hazle Fulghum Jackson, age 75, of Harrison, died Thursday, September 08, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, September the 10th at 11:00am at the Harrison Baptist Church Cemetery. Andy Carter will officiate.

Mrs. Jackson was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County the daughter of the late Roger C. Fulghum and the late Lois Layton Fulghum. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years retiring from the Tennille Post Office. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Harrison Baptist Church and is predeceased by her brother Leonard Fulghum and her sister Dorothy Rainwater.

Survivors are; her husband Edwin S. Jackson of Harrison and sons Tracy Jackson of Harrison and Kerry Jackson (Bonnie) of Sandersville, one granddaughter Kristen Jackson of Milledgeville, one brother Michael Fulghum (Linda) of Sandersville, brother and sister-in-laws Julius and Hazel Jackson of Harrison, Elaine Fulghum of Harrison and Sam Rainwater of Sandersville and special friends Lamar and Edna Cullens also of Harrison.
