Henry Arthur "Hank" Brown

Mr. Henry Arthur “Hank” Brown, age 64, of 141 Camellia Lane in Sandersville died Friday, December 21,2012, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Sunday, December 23rd, at the White Oak Independent Methodist Church with Rev. Dewey Henderson officiating.

Mr. Brown was a native of Bimington New York, the son of the late Rex Allen Brown. He was a retired customer service representative. He had been a taxi driver, a grocery store manager and a movie store owner. Mr. Brown was of the Catholic faith, but had attended the White Oak Independent Methodist Church since moving to Sandersville.

Survivors are: his mother, Beverly Burris Brown of Holiday, Florida; a daughter, Shelly Rae Lynn of Mississippi; his sisters, Marsha Brown of Douglasville, Melanie B. Pearson of Madison, Alabama, Mary Ellen Doughty of Grayson, Carrie B. Usry and her husband David of Sandersville, and Amy B. Ingham of Clearwater; a brother, Wes Brown of Clearwater; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests donations be made to the White Oak Independent Methodist Church in memory of Mr. Brown.

May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
