Hilda Scarborough Boatright

Mrs. Hilda Scarborough Boatright, age 88, of 1492 Boatright Road in Tennille died Tuesday December 9 in the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday December 12 in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. The Rev. Mike Brown will officiate.

Mrs. Boatright was a native of Telfair County, Georgia, the daughter of the late William A. Scarborough and the late Alma Parker Scarborough. She was the wife of the late Ted M. Boatright. Mrs. Boatright was a retired employee of Miller’s Food Store and a homemaker. She was a member of the Tennille Baptist Church.

Survivors are her children, Ted M. Boatright, Jr. (Ellen) of Tennille, Linda Boatright Butler (Bill) of Douglas and Mack A. Boatright (Mary) of Tennille, a sister, Elizabeth Dukes of Sandersville, seven grandchildren, Derek Boatright, Vicki Coleman, Julie Adams, Billy Butler III, Jason “BoBo” Boatright, Mack Alan Boatright, Jr., and Christopher Boatright, and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday.
