Each holiday season often brings great joy to our lives. It is a time of family gatherings and religious celebrations. However, for those who have experienced loss, this can be a time of heightened sorrow. This invasion of death in our lives has always been our most difficult times however these past two years have been exponentially difficult. We have all suffered earthly separation on some level and for many these times seem to be more than they can bear.
We at May and Smith Funeral Directors work each day to walk with those who have lost. It is during this time we feel that something more is needed in our community to help us cope. On Monday, December 13 th at 7:00 p.m. we will host “Hope for the Holidays”, a service of remembrance of those with whom we have lost. Please join us at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel and hear a message of hope and comfort from Rev. Cecil Cook of the First Christian Church of Sandersville and Rev. Stan Littleton of Sandersville United Methodist Church. Experience meaningful music by area musicians as we share our hurt and hope together.
