Ina Jean Joiner

Mrs. Ina Jean Page Joiner, age 77, of Wrightsville, passed away peacefully to her home in heaven Monday, June 30, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2nd, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near Harrison with burial in the Church Cemetery. Reverends Scott Osborne, Danny Thomas and Chad Waller will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tony Marshall, Steve Smith, Charles Rachels, Jacob Waller, Wesley Price, Aaron Price, Jimmy Godfrey and Paul Brown.

Mrs. Joiner was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County the daughter of the late Robert Eldridge Page and the late Marie Gertie Askew Page. She was a long time and faithful employee of Thiele Kaolin Company where she retired in 2001 after 30 years of service as Corporate Secretary. Mrs. Joiner was an active member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she formerly taught Sunday school. She is predeceased by her brother, Robert Edward Page.

Mrs. Joiner is survived by her husband, Lenard Helton Joiner of Wrightsville; her children, Cindy J. Waller and her husband Gary of Wrightsville and Bruce L. Joiner and his wife Tracy of Macon; step-grandchildren, Jacob Waller and Jenna Waller; her sister, Linda P. Bateman and her husband Tommy of Wrightsville; brothers, William Page and his wife Barbara and Roy L. Page and his wife Shirl all of Wrightsville; and her sister-in-law Inez Page of Monroe.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
