Irene Leverett Adams

Mrs. Irene Leverett Adams, age 92, of E. Church Street in Sandersville, died Monday, March 09, 2009 at the Washington County Extended Care Facility. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 11th at 11:00am in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Redin W. Hodges III will officiate.

Mrs. Adams was born in Washington County the daughter of the late George Washington Leverett and the late Bessie Simpson Leverett. She was a former nurse’s aid at the Rawlings Nursing Home and she was a homemaker. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Poplar Springs Christian Church and she is predeceased by her husband Thomas Adams.

Mrs. Adams is survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Cemetery following the graveside service.
