Mrs. Jackie Bridges Mimbs, age 77, of Highway 231 in Harrison died Tuesday October 19 in the Heritage Inn of Sandersville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday October 21 in the First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville. A graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Bay Springs Church Cemetery near Scott, Georgia. The Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeff Price, Michael Hall, Mike Yates, Corey Thomas and Stacy Prince.
Mrs. Mimbs was a native of Washington County, the daughter of the late Kinchie Eugene Bridges and the late Addie Robertson Bridges. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Mimbs was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Christian Workers Sunday School Class.
Survivors are her husband, Z. L. Mimbs of Harrison, a son, Tony Lee Mimbs and his wife Cheryl of Sandersville, two sisters, Gaye Bridges Johnson of Augusta and Ruth Bridges Hammock of Harrison, two brothers, Bobby Bridges of Riddleville and Billy Bridges of Harrison, three grandchildren, Tory Mimbs, Tylan Mimbs and Tabitha Mimbs all of Sandersville.
The family request donations be made to the JELO Building Fund in care of the First Church of the Nazarene, P. O. Box 801, Sandersville, Georgia 31082
May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
