James Andrew Beddingfield

James Andrew “Andy” Beddingfield, age 49, of Tennille, died Monday, July 4, 2016. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Zeta Cemetery. Reverend Bill Moody will officiate.

Andy was born in Richmond County and reared in Tennille, the son of the late William E. “Bill” Beddingfield and the late Virginia Morgan “Ginger” Beddingfield. He was a lifelong active member of the Tennille Baptist Church. Andy formerly worked for the Villa South, Hardees and BiLo. He never met a stranger and was often referred to by friends as the “Mayor of Main Street”.

Survivors are his brother, William C. “Cliff” Beddingfield of Hoover, AL and a host of cherished friends.

A visitation for Andy will occur on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.
