James Gordon Brantley

Mr. James Gordon Brantley, age 67, of 205 Kings Road in East Dublin died Wednesday February 4 in the Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 7 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. The Rev. Mason Davis and Rev. Billy Todd will officiate with burial in the Washington County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Brantley was a native of Washington County, the son of the late John Benjamin Brantley and the late Linnie Dell Powell Brantley. He was a retired laboratory technician for Imerys Kaolin Company.
Mr. Brantley was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was the husband of the late Doris Kitchens Brantley.

Survivors are his daughters, Cindy Brantley Martin (Chris) and Christi Brantley Griffis (Barry) both of East Dublin, and Cheryl Brantley Winfrey (Jeff) of Wrightsville, four grandchildren, Cody Griffis, Casey Griffis, Brandi Winfrey and Jason Winfrey, a brother, Benny (Phyllis) Brantley of Harrison.
