James Noah Mcneely Sr

March 8, 1943 — November 21, 2016

Mr. James Noah McNeely, Sr., age 73, of Davisboro, died on Monday, November 21, 2016 in the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 25 at New Hope United Methodist Church. The Reverend Ron Dixon will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Claude Thompson, Rob McKinney, Freddy Woodard, Chris Woodard, Travis Woodard, and Scottie Askew.

Mr. McNeely was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Harry McNeely and the late Fannie Woodard McNeely. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy McNeely. He was an auto mechanic and a retired employee of Georgia Kaolin Company. Mr. McNeely was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church.

Survivors are his companion, Pat Taylor of Davisboro; a son, James Noah McNeely, Jr. and his wife Mariah of Grayson; three grandchildren, Sarah Katherine McNeely, James Noah McNeely III, and Madeline Joi McNeely; two sisters, Betty McNeely Watson of Locust Grove and Gloria McNeely Giddens of Tybee Island.

The family suggest donations be made to the New Hope United Methodist Church, 6428 Heards Bridge Road, Bartow, Georgia 30413.

The family will receive friends at the New Hope United Methodist Church on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the Hour of service.
