James William Phillips

Mr. James William Phillips, age 59, Tennille, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022.   A family gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

Jim was born in Macon and reared in Tennille, where he attended school. He served in the Georgia National Guard.  Jim was trained as a welder and spent most of his working career as a carpenter lastly working for Chris Veal Construction  In his spare time, Jim loved to fish.

Survivors include his daughters, Amber Stovall of Arizona and Emily Stovall of Milledgeville; siblings, Bobby Phillips and Billy Joe Phillips both of Tennille and Gladys P. Glass of North Carolina.
