Mr. Jay Buhler, age 76, of 513 West Church Street in Sandersville died Thursday morning November 5.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 7 in the Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sandersville. The Rev. Marlon Lastinger will officiate.

Mr. Buhler was a native of Bellvue, Idaho, the son of the late Russell Jay Buhler and the late Ida Groves Buhler. He was the father of the late Nancy Lynn Buhler. Mr. Buhler was a retired plant superintendent for Champion Papers Inc. He was a life member of the Twin City Country Club. Mr. Buhler served as a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corp.

Survivors are his children, Susan Buhler (Bill) Black of Sandersville, Michael J. Buhler of Sandersville and Stacey Buhler Henderson of Ellijay, four grandchildren, John Brenden (Katheryn) Durden, Travis Jay (Rachel) Durden, Brittany Ann Black and Rachel Ellen Kelcourse, four great grandchildren, Hannah Rae Durden, Ivey Alexis Durden, John William Durden and Jackson Jay Durden, his former wives, Idanne Shriver Buhler and Annette D. Smith.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday. The family suggests that donations be made to the Christian Life Center,
