Jay Andrew Damron

Mr. Jay Andrew Damron, age 40, of Harrison died on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at his residence.

A memorial service for Mr. Damron will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 29, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. Reverend Roy Smith will officiate. A family committal service will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd in the Joe Damron Cemetery in Pikeville KY.

Mr. Damron was a native of Hinesville, the son of the late James E. Aliff, Jr. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in psychology. Mr. Damron was employed with the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Survivors are: his mother, Kaollene Wilson Pscholka; a brother, Michael Aliff of Harrison; two nieces, Abby Aliff and Sarah Aliff.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
