Jean Griffis Neal

Ms. Jean Griffis Neal, age 81, of Jackson Church Road in Tennille passed away at her home following an extended illness.  A family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Ms. Neal was born in Cocoa Florida, the daughter of the late Nola Griffis and Evelyn Adkins Tucker.  She is also predeceased by her son, Edgar Graham Mills, her stepfather, Kenneth "Dink" Tucker and siblings, Joann, Danny, Inez, Ronnie, Donna, Charles, Larry, and Neil.  Ms. Neal was reared in Bunnell Florida.  She was a longtime resident of Flagler County Florida where she worked as a sales representative for Plantation Oaks, a senior living community from which she retired.  Ms. Neal moved to Washington County Georgia in 2013 to be near family.  She loved to fish and watch NASCAR and old western shows.

Survivors are her children, Michael L. Hudson and his wife Jeannie of Oak Hill, FL. and Alyce Evette "Eve" Mills of Tennille, GA.; grandchildren, Michael Hudson, Brandon Hudson, Ashley Mills and Colton Tilson; seven great great grandchildren; and siblings, Patsy Albright, Carolyn Buckner, Dorothy Griffis, Kenneth Tucker and Gail Presswood.
