Mrs. Jeanette Wren Hackle, age 85, of Adrian, died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, August 27 th at 11:00 a.m. in Washington County Memorial Gardens. Reverend Donna Avera will officiate. Pallbearers will be George Fredricks, Willie James, Billy Freeman, Josh Warren, Cody Stapleton and Eric Smith.
Mrs. Hackle was born in Wrens, the daughter of the late Joshua Truman Wren and the late Rosa Belle Gay Wren. She was a homemaker and loved fishing, riding the countryside and enjoyed family meals. Her sweet and gentle spirit was a blessing to many who knew her. Mrs. Hackle is predeceased by her first husband, Rembert Eubanks, children, Luther Wilson and Patsy Kelsey and siblings, Billy Wren, Bobby Wren, David Wren and Betty Moxley.
Survivors are; husband, Edward "Bud" Hackle; granddaughter, Tammy Dykes of Sandersville; five great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn W. Kauffman of Augusta and Judy W. Moore of Grovetown; sister-in-law’s and care givers, Mae Wilkerson of Kite and Brenda Clifton of Swainsboro; niece, Melissa Radford also of Swainsboro; and special friends, Crystal Thompson and Dianna McCorvey.
The family will be at the Hackle residence on Walden Way outside of Adrian and they will receive friends on Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
