Mrs. Jeanette L. Jackson, age 79 of Sandersville, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Heritage Inn. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11:00 at White Oak Church, with burial following in the church cemetery. Reverend John Pirkle, Reverend Butch Taylor and Reverend Jimmy Napier will officiate. Pallbearers will be, Blake Harris, Lonnie Sanders, Chance Jackson, Josh Jackson, Caleb Lord, and Keith Jones. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Mrs. Jackson was a life-long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Paul Lord and the late Martha Yarbrough Lord. Many in Washington County affectionately knew her as “Mama Nette”, either from her time working as a secretary for Dr. Moody or Helton Electric, or from her time working at Peachtree Salvage. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed camping and being outdoors, as well as fishing, crafts, gardening, cooking, and board games. Above all else she loved her family, her church, and God. She was a member of White Oak Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Reese Jackson, Sr., and her son, William “Little Bill” Reese Jackson, Jr.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughter, Lynn Harris (Eddie) of Riddleville, Son, Paul Jackson (Teresa) of Sandersville; daughter in law, Terri Jackson of Sandersville; grandchildren, Lyndsey Sanders (Lonnie), Blake Harris (Eryn), Madison Jackson, Savannah Graham (Howard), Joshua Jackson (Alexandria), Chance Jackson (Ally); great grandchildren, Willow Sanders, Marshall Harris, Mitchell Sanders, Elijah Jackson, Cooper Jackson, Emery Harris, Atlas Jackson, and Hollis Graham; sister, Paulette Pierson of Davisboro; brother, Gerald Lord (Kay) of Sandersville; and many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Mrs. Jackson’s memory to White Oak Church at P. O. Box 1138, Sandersville GA.
