Jeanette Lee Sanford

Mrs. Jeanette Lee Sanford, age 50, of Griffin, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church in Jefferson County. Reverend Tom Harrison will officiate.

Mrs. Sanford was born in Washington State and reared in Washington County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Theodore E. “Ted” Sanford and the late Sally Louella Balkwell Sanford and she was a homemaker.

Survivors include: her husband Robert Lashley of Griffin, children, Kristie Nichole Janes of Griffin, Jeremy Ross Janes of Wichita, KS, and Shelly Amanda J. Todd and her husband Matthew of Dublin; grandchildren, Amanda Lee Reece, Destini Ann Todd, Rylan Gage Todd, Landon Oliver Janes, Ella Grace Janes and Kelley Ross Janes; and her sisters, Letah Sanford of Atlanta, and Lorraine S. Poole and her husband Tony of Marietta.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
